Our Girls Into Coding events and learning opportunities are created for girls aged 10 to 14 in London, giving them hands-on experience in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This includes physical computing, robotics and coding workshops.

Before the age of six, boys and girls tend to share an equal interest in technology.
By nine, a noticeable gender gap starts to emerge, which continues to widen and girls’ interest and confidence in STEM in particular starts to fall away
All hands-on workshops are run by highly experienced mentors, offering a range of STEM activities, such as coding, building and making.
We have inspiring, expert speakers join us from across all STEM industries, who are doing exciting things in the world of STEM.
Some of our educators are the same age as attendees (including Girls Into Coding founder Avye), offering peer to peer mentoring to help young girls feel engaged.
We ensure all events and workshops are challenging, engaging and fun – we want girls to learn through enjoyment!
